It was reformed in 1963, 1965 and 1976 under the names of Union of Burma Agricultural Marketing Board (UBAMB), Trade Corporation N0.1 (TC-1) and Agricultural & Farm Produce Trade Corporation (AFPTC) respectively. In 1989, under the market oriented economic system, this enterprise was again restructured as State Economic Enterprise under the name of Myanmar Agricultural Produce Trading (MAPT), constituted in the organization set-up Ministry of Commerce.
